See the Eligibility Criteria file above for more detail. Cats and dogs adopted from animal shelters and 501c3 organizations are eligible, regardless of income. Community cats and dogs are eligible if the owner's family has income under 150% of the federal poverty guidelines or if the cats and dogs belong to a veteran with a service-connected disability.

Please submit a grant utilization report with the following year's application. If you received a grant in 2025, please submit a utilization report of the 2025 funds with your 2026 grant application. If you do not apply for a grant in 2026, please submit the utilization report within one year of receiving the 2025 grant.
